ALRICKY$$$ CASH REWARD OFFERED FOR MOST WANTED CRIMINAL!!!!!!

Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips that will lead investigators with the Lamar County Sheriff's Department to the whereabouts of AL RICKY EDWARDS, also known as "Thunder."

A spokesperson for the Lamar County Sheriff's Department says Edwards "is to be considered armed and dangerous." Edwards is wanted for several charges including attempted robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, obstructing justice, and directing or causing a felony to be committed by a person under 17 years old.

Metro Crime Stoppers is teaming up with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI), the Wayne County Sheriff's Department(WCSO), and Wayne County Crime Stoppers, to help a Wayne County family get public help, in the form of anonymous tips, in finding out who murdered their loved one.

"Metro Crime Stoppers was initially contacted by Trish Harbour in Jackson. Harbour is the State Director, Division of Crime Stoppers, for the MS Department of Public Safety." says Diane James, Metro Crime Stoppers and Southeast MS Crime Stoppers coordinator.

Investigator Ricky Lott with the MBI, and Inv. Mike Mozingo with the WCSO, are the lead investigators and contact persons on this case. Lott says Janie Broadway Williams was murdered at around 1:00a.m., the morning of Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at her home in Waynesboro. The shot came through the kitchen window as Williams stood in front of her refrigerator. Lott says a high power rifle was used to fire the fatal shot. Williams was the owner of the High Noon Bar in Waynesboro, MS, and a well respected member of the community.

$2000 REWARD FOR STONE CO. MURDER SUSPECT!

SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI CRIME STOPPERS (SEMCS) is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for tips that lead to the arrest of a suspect(s) in connection with the murder of longtime Wiggins - Stone County resident, Duncan Hatten.

SEMCS Board of Directors President, Mr. John Altman of Wiggins, spoke for the entire board today in doubling the reward to $2,000, instead of the usual $1,000 reward for suspects in connection with a murder, due to the seriousness of this crime.

"Our tip line is open to the public. Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips that will help lead investigators with the Petal Police Department to the person responsible for robbing the Fast Track convenience store (800 block of Highway 11) in Petal. The robbery occurred at around 10:20 Friday night and the Junior Food Mart on Hardy near Kamper Park, also on Friday night. Hattiesburg Police are investigating the Junior Food Mart robbery.

Police say the suspect entered both stores, held a gun on the clerk, demanded money, and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

PETAL FORGERY & BAD CHECK SUSPECT BEHIND BARS DUE TO TIP!

KEVIN R. WALTERS (37), a forgery and uttering suspect, is behind bars after being arrested following a tip from an anonymous citizen.

Sgt. Gavin Guy, who headed the investigation with the Petal Police Department's Investigative Division, says Walters was wanted for writing bad checks at a Petal business, and was arrested at around 7:00pm on Monday, April 14, 2008 at a residence in Petal. Walters is charged with forgery and uttering (writing bad checks). Walters' first court appearance is scheduled for 1:30pm Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the Petal Police Department.

The law enforcement contact person is Det. Gavin Guy, with the Petal Police Department. Det. Guy's contact number is 601-408-2513.

"After the reported aired on the six o'clock news (WDAM - News 7) we got a good tip that led Petal Police to Walters' location. Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 in cash for tips that will lead investigators to the location and arrest of James T. Barrentine. Investigators with the Forrest County Sheriff's Department say Barrantine was caught on in-store security cameras burglarizing the Sunrise Trading Post, located at 252 Sunrise Road in Petal, MS, during the early morning hours on March 3, 2008. Investigators say Barrantine stole an undetermined amount of cash from the business during the break-in.

Anyone with information about this crime, who would like to report an anonymous tip, leading to a cash reward, should call the tip hotline at 601-582-STOP(7867). Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 in cash for tips that will lead investigators with the University of Southern Mississippi Police Department to a man, caught on a security camera using a stolen ATM/DEBIT card. USM Police Department Investigator, Lt. Rusty Keyes says the ATM/DEBIT card was reported missing from a USM employee on October 11, 2007.

Lt. Keyes also says that a short time later, the suspect was photographed on security cameras using the stolen card at a Hattiesburg bank.
